Event Details

Medford, Massachusetts | Friday - Saturday, September 26 and 27, 2025 | 5-mile, 5K, 2-mile, Kids’ Fun Runs, Celebrity Mile, High School Mile, Para Mile

Starting and finishing at Medford City Hall, the 5-mile, Jerry’s Run for all Ages 5K race, and 2-mile walk are scenic tours through the heart of the city. Whether you are a seasoned runner or a weekend jogger, the course was created for all ability levels. The kids’ races are age-dependent distances including 1/4 mile, 1/2 mile, 3/4 mile, and 1 mile, that all start and finish on the Dave McGillivray Track at Hormel Stadium.

The Mayor’s Celebrity Mile (invitation only) is a one-mile course run on the Dave McGillivray Track at Hormel Stadium.

Jerry's Run for All Ages 5K race is named after Jerry Panarese who was a member of the New England 65+ Runners Club and who became the director of the Run of All Ages which was held in Wakefield, MA for 25 years. The race’s legacy continues through the Run Medford event!

The Run Medford event is the latest event created by legendary race director and Medford native Dave McGillivray! Dave's goal is to create a community-focused event that will have a significant positive impact on the City of Medford, its businesses, residents, non-profits, students, athletes, and people in need for years to come.
